While exploring the world of Black Desert your equipment will begin to lose durability as you use it to fight monsters and gather items. When your equipment durability reaches 0 it will become unusable and will need to be repaired.
To repair your equipment you will need to find a blacksmith found in most towns and cities or use a personal anvil which you can place in your home.
- Repair Individual Items: Right click the item you want to repair.
- Repair Equipped Items: This will repair all items you have equipped.
- Repair Items in Bag: This will repair all items in your bag.
- Restore Durability: You can sacrifice a similar item to boost the maximum durability of an item. To do this the items must have the same name, such as a Tarotus Helm can restore durability to another Tarotus Helm.
When increasing the power of your weapon/armor using a blackstone you have a chance of failure. If this occurs the items durability will be permanently decreased. You will not be able to increase the durability unless you sacrifice an item.
There is a very small chance that the max durability will be repaired when visiting a blacksmith.
Personal Anvil Repair
A personal anvil is a sound investment for any adventurer. To unlock it, you must examine the Anvil next to the Velia blacksmith to gain the knowledge. Take any item you wish to repair to your own anvil and begin to repair it. It will take much longer to repair it with your own hands, but the cost is free.
