An Ancient Kutum that resides inside the Scarlet Sand Chamber.

According to old records, Ancient Kutum used to live inside the Scarlet Sand Chamber. The chamber's doors were shut tight as soon as Kutum stopped moving, which then led to the chamber's mysterious disappearance.

The thundering sound of Ancient Kutum's heart recently re-opened the doors of the Scarlet Sand Chamber, and its entrance was discovered by archaeologists and explorers.[1]

World Boss Battle[]

Recommended AP/DP (unbuffed): 160+/230+[2]

  • HP: 80,236,755
  • Defense (DP): 650
  • Evasion: 600
  • Damage Reduction: 50
  • XP: 74,331,270
  • Skill XP: 9,147,168

  • Spit (Basic Ranged Attack): Kutum will spit on his target if it is out of range. It deals medium damage.
  • Cleave (Basic Melee Attack): It is a multi hit attack and the first hit deals most of the damage. Before every Cleave, Kutum will announce the direction of the hit with an animation. The cleave will cover ~70 degree.
  • Burrow: Kutum will burrow himself to jump twice out of the sand to attack his targets. This attack deals extremely high damage combined with a knockdown in a huge area around his emersion and submerge spot.
  • Emerge: After Kutum has used his Burrow ability he will emerge in the middle of the room dealing medium damage around him.
  • Vacuum: Kutum's strongest attack. It's a huge range AoE attack below the center of his head. The first hit of the Vacuum will deal by far the most damage.

Once Kutum has reached less than 50% HP he uses his Burrow. Instead of the small AoE he uses on his normal Emerge, he'll reappear overcharged. All of his attacks will deal more damage from now on and he adds the Lightning Explosion to his attack pattern.

  • Lightning Explosion: Once Kutum is overcharged he will very occasionally (1-2 times per fight) use this huge AoE attack which will basically cover the whole room but a small area around him.[3]

Work in progress.

  • Kutum's encounter was released on the 14th of September 2016.[4]
