Guardian is a playable class in Black Desert.
Play Style[]
Profile[]
Basic[]
The unforgiving judicator wrapped in the chill of eternal winter.
- Main/Sub-weapon: Battle Axe/Shield
- Combat Style: Melee
The Guardian charges headlong into battle, taking advantage of her tough fortitude and hacks away at her enemies without mercy. She never gives ground, no matter the circumstance. Instead, she grabs the enemy’s throat and slams down on them with her shield and finishes them with her battle axe. Despite such fervor for battle, she can hold steady with her shield and wait patiently for the perfect chance, then strike like a nimble beast. Her greatest attribute lies in her might and the impact she delivers with every blow.
Awakening[]
The slayer who rises out of oblivion after reclaiming the Holy Flame.
- Awakening Weapon: Jordun
- Combat Style: Melee
The awakened Guardian now wields the jordun. Within it rests the Holy Flame, Ynix, said to have the power to consume the gods. As if light as a feather, she wields the massive blade and brings down wrath upon her enemies. The flame of her jordun deals damage in a large area with powers so destructive that thwarts light itself. Using skills that resemble the dragon Labreska, who once ruled over the mountain of snow, she uses the sharp edge of her jordun to incapacitate her enemies, then fearlessly leaps up and slams down on them.
Succession[]
The battle axe that breaks all of the world's scales.
- Succession Weapon: Battle Axe/Shield
- Combat Style: Melee
The Guardian that chooses Succession takes up the battleaxe and shield once more to administer merciless judgment on her foes. Relinquishing absolute power for the role of executioner, the Guardian displays simple yet incredible feats of power. She crushes her foes with simple yet overwhelming displays of force, breaking through her enemies' armor and enemy lines. Per chance if you meet the Guardian on the battlefield, you should run straight in the opposite direction. Otherwise, you may end up paying the ultimate price.
History[]
There is no god in this world.
Omua's black blood burned away the ivory white skin
And drew the path from the ever winter tops to where the dragon fang sleeps. A message to the line of the parasite who stole the Holy Flame, The curse of the dragon has yet to end and still remains.
There is no god in this world.
Omua's black blood melted down the bones of the descendants of the parasite. A small slither of pain from when god severed her legs and stripped off her wings. A message to tell them, unless the Holy Flame is returned, the old glory of the Golden Mountain will forever be buried in endless winter.
There is no god in this world.
Omua's black blood devoured the blood of the silent and gorged out the scream of her rage upon the parasite’s broken covenant. To break Omua free from god's curse of death, and to retrieve the Holy Flame, a pact with the Black Spirit was dealt.
There is no god in this world.
With the frost that covered me when I first emerged from my shell, the fragmented memories of Omua imbued on my body were frozen in place. Oblivion will overwhelm me once the pact is made, but I shall remember all well.
There is no god in this world.
Finally, Omua's black blood bloomed in red all over the body. And now we venture out beyond from the Golden Mountain. The grand power and control of the Black Spirit is where I now lay. Ynix, the Holy Flame will be mine, and with it I will burn down the gods for their transgressions.
There is no god in this world.
In the midst of a moonless night on the hills of Zvier, a young demibeast looked upon the ever winter tops and whispered.
"Hear my plea, oh benevolent god... Obscure thy traces from this world."
"The Guardian, master of the Holy Flame, drenched in the blood of the ancient dragon, seeks thy ashes."
